I just finished working on an Assy No. 250425 longboard. The problem was the standard ‘black screen of death’ and it all ended up with me fooling myself on the way to success. The faultfinding process can be frustrating, annoying and a pain in the neck. However, it is also the fastest road to increase the knowledge of the inner works of the Commodore 64. And nothing beats the feeling of self success when you are greeted by the sweet blue welcome screen after several hours of work.
